What is the pressure of the factory air supply

The pressure range of the plant air supply varies depending on the type of gas and the needs of the application. In general, the commonly used gas sources in factories include compressed air, inert gases (such as nitrogen, argon, etc.) and industrial gases (such as oxygen, acetylene, etc.), and their respective pressure ranges are as follows:

Compressed air: It is usually used to drive pneumatic equipment, wash machines, and convey materials. The pressure range is generally between 0.7~1.2MPa, but the corresponding pressure requirements of different equipment may be different.

Inert gases: These gases are often used to prevent corrosion or explosion of equipment, such as nitrogen, argon, etc. The pressure range is usually low, generally not more than 0.1MPa, to ensure that the internal pressure of the device is equal to the outside and avoid the safety problems caused by the pressure difference.

Industrial gases: These gases include oxygen, acetylene, etc., which are widely used in combustion, cutting, welding and other processes. Among them, the pressure of oxygen is generally required to be between 0.20.4MPa, while gases such as acetylene may require higher pressures to reach between 0.61.2MPa.

In addition, there are special gases such as hydrogen, methane, etc., which are also used in specific industrial processes, and their pressure ranges are also different. For example, hydrogen is usually used in fuel cells, hydrogenation reactions and other fields, and its pressure is generally at a high level, such as between 5~25MPa.

In general, the pressure of the plant air supply depends on the type of gas used and the specific application needs. In order to ensure the normal operation and safe use of the equipment, the factory should select the appropriate air supply pressure according to the actual situation and follow the relevant safety operation procedures.
